The CEO of REI is Jeff Potter, who has ten years experience in the renewable energy sector (wind, geothermal, hydro, LFG). Prior to this he spent over 25 years in the international oil & gas industry, with Merrill Lynch, EF Hutton, Lehman Bros. later setting up and managing his own companies. In December 2006, Jeff joined Eolfi in Paris (later owned by Veolia Environnment), as Head of International Business Development. In this position he built up a large portfolio of projects in Poland and originated and negotiated the acquisition of Ridgeline Energy in the US. Jeff founded REI in August 2009.
Leonard Seelig is a member of the Board of Directors of REI. Leonard has enjoyed a very successful career in international finance spanning three decades, including senior positions in the US and Europe with America's largest banks. He was Senior European Executive for NationsBank (now Bank of America) managing over 350 professionals continent-wide. He was responsible for all banking, investment banking and trading activities in Europe as well as compliance and regulatory approvals to the FSA and Bank of England. He is currently involved in advisory work on corporate strategy, negotiations of complex financial agreements and board level facilitation.
